This week's segment of our celebrities profile, we are going to write about Hadiza Blell. Popularly  known by her fans as Di'Ja,

Dija was born in Kaduna Nigeria her mother is from the Northern part of Nigeria and her father is from Sierra Leone, she has lived in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, the United States, and Canada. She speaks English,Hausa and Krio(a Sierra Leonian tongue) fluently

Dija has a double degree in Biology and Psychology, after earning her degrees, Dija develops passion for music, and her  Musical career began in 2008 and she release her first single titled 'Rock Steady"

Dija is a songwriter,recording artist, visual artist, fashion designer, and and her style of music is R&B, urban contemporary, afrobeat, afropop and african hip hop.  Dija uses the 3 dialects she speaks to sing, She  released several singles, including "'How Can we be Friends" in 2012, "Dan'Iska (Rudebwoy)" and "Hold On (Ba Damuwa)",in 2013.

She returned to Nigeria in 2013 and signed a record deal with Nigerian record producer Don Jazzy . On 14 February 2014, her record deal with Mavin Records was publicized.

 Di'Ja released her first official single under Mavin Records. The song, titled "Yaro",the song is an up-tempo celebration of love and commitment against all odds. The song infuses Hausa and Krio dialects in honour of her Nigerian and Sierra Leonean roots.

In May 2014, Di'Ja was featured on "Dorobucci" alongside her label mates Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Tiwa Savage, D'Prince, Korede Bello, and Reekado Banks. also she was featured on "Adaobi"with Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, and Don Jazzy.

In September 2014, Don Jazzy, Reekado Banks and Di’Ja released "Arise", a song dedicated to Nigeria. In January 2015, she released her new single titled "Awww", which is now getting massive air wave
