Adamu Wayya popularly known as Dan Maraya jos has died. He is a Nigerian Hausa Griot best known for playing the kontigi. Dan Maraya Jos, whose name means "The Little Orphan of Jos", is one of the most famous Hausa muscian of the old century he died Saturday, 20 June 2015 in B'ukur, near Jos in Plateau State.
He will be remembered for his well composed songs that speak on many societal issues, He has since been buried according to Islamic rites. May his soul rest in peace. More photos after the cut
